locking double foot guides

I am wrapping double foot stripper guides and snake guides today. How can I lock the guides with the thread. With single foot guides I think it's called a fordham locking wrap. Harry T. Bell Re: locking double foot guides

I don't see any reason to lock a double foot guide, the wraps automatically secure it from each end. Ron Weber Re: locking double foot guides

The purpose of the locking wrap is to prevent a single foot guide from slipping out from under the wrap. This is not possible with a double foot guide as it is wrapped in apposing directions. It would also not be easy to do as getting the line under the body of the guide would be really a pain. Just wrap as normal and done. Re: locking double foot guides
