Sanding Stick

I found a neat tool to help sand the legs on my guides!

Go to www.excelhobbyblades.com search for the following Product # 55678 Sanding Stick w/extra belt. Product #55679 Sanding belts assorted! The tool is color coded depending on sand belt grit. They have 120, 240, 320, 400, 600 and 80 grit.

The tool I use comes with 240. I picked mine jp at a model (car/airplane) store! in Fayetteville, NC

I use hemostat to hold the guides!

Took some plastic tubing and insert over the ends of the hemostat to help damage control. Still have to be careful!

I build bass rods dealing with sort of small guides.

I have used emery boards to do much the same thing. Your product is probably a heck of alot better and longer lasting. Good tip. Thanks.
