Hey all,
I'm new to the forum and to rod building. My question is how do you apply the color preserver? Do you apply it and then apply epoxy or is it used as the epoxy? Remember I'm new to this and hope its not a dumb question. Re: color preserver

Color preserver is used before applying the epoxy, not in place of. Additionally, be very sure the CP is dry before applying epoxy, 24 hrs is best. Re: color preserver

Buddy,
You can also use 2 coats CP to cover decals before applying epoxy. It helps stop the decal curling problem. Just make sure the CP is dry between coats. Don Campbell don@sensorfishingrods.com Re: color preserver
