FUJI's NEW ULTRA POLY THREAD ready to go!
Posted by: Jim Ising (---.dyn.centurytel.net)

After a lot of work to develop a suitable substitute for Gudebrod, Fuji has released new Ultra Poly thread. We are currently shipping to a few retailers but if you want to speed up the delivery, call your favorite supplier and ask for ULTRA POLY. It only takes a few calls and your dealer will be looking for the product.

We have tested this product with beginning rod builders and seasoned pros and the feedback has been 100% positive. Not knowing what the initial demand would be, we have been conservative with our opening quantities but additional product is in the pipeline at this time. If you want to be one of the first to try ULTRA POLY we suggest you place your order right away.

You can review colors and sizes at [www.anglersresource.net] by downloading the Ultra Poly catalog.

A Japanese thread will always be a little more I think, but it just might be a little better too.

Is that like your CORZITE guides ?????
Or
Your Reverse Casting guides
You make a casting guide with a frame to get rid of the line knotting around the ring

THEN you come out with a Reverse casting guide This is The Opposite of what you just MARKETED

Does this make any Cense ---- NOT TO ME

Then you came out with the New concept -- SAME THING -- just move the chock closer

But this was made buy some one that does not care about getting how much money he can

Bill, lighten up. Keep in mind, if you think you are getting screwed by those offering product, you don't have to buy. And, if they are so out of line, it is a business opportunity for you to come up with your product.

Bill,
This is a free market society.
Everyone has an opportunity to bring a new product to market and sell the product. If the product is a quality product at a competitive price with good properties, it may be able to become a successful product, based on sales.

If not, the product will fail and will soon be gone from the market place.

There are several very large Korean thread manufacturers that have been manufacturing all kinds of thread for years, including, but not limited to thread for wrapping guides.

Be safe

Jesus.

The way some of you belligerently attack producers trying to market their goods makes me wonder whether they will stick around and advertise their goods here on this board. I for one like them here and have gotten help from a few of them.

There is a classy way to critique products and then there is the stuff above.

Sheesh.

I sometimes think that later in the evening people may have imbibed a bit and are a bit harsh in their comments. It's just thread. Try a spool and see what you think.

Thanks Jim for letting is know of the new product.
Can imagine where'd this craft would be if the above mentality of "no new products" had always existed. People should keep in mind that their old "tried and true" products on their workbench were at one time the new revolutionary thing to hit the market.

Thanks, Jim. Let me know when Fuji comes out with innovations that are of minimal cost or free. (LOL) I'm going to the car dealership today and demand they sell me a new car at 2005 prices.

Certainly didn't mean to punch Bill's button. Thanks for the positive comments.
The thread is Polyester. The mfgr, as well as the research we can gather in that industry, gives polyester the nod for UV resistance, strength and color retention. It's the hands down choice for any sewing needs in the marine industry i.e. upholstery. Our efforts have resulted in a polyester thread that handles very nicely, burnishes beautifully and (as far as we know for the first time) is 100% free of any lubricants like silicone or oils of any type. Like Tom said..it's just thread. Try it.

Jim you are a gracious gentlemen and have proven it. As far as the products your company offers they are cutting edge. Your engineers are always offering new ways and means to refine our craft. The 27X and new guide concept are great tools among the many your company offer us. As far as K series guides go they work great and my customers who tried them love therm. I for one am excited to try a new thread as my guidebrod collection is getting smaller and smaller and I have not found a replacement yet. Certain members of this board are IGNORENT.I have been in this craft for 30 years plus and innovation, change and new idea sharing has been its hallmark from day one. These so called "experts" are the first rude #%&*!#*# to tell a newbie asking questions to check the old posts the questions been asked. Guess there momma never told them nothing good to say keep your mouth shut. Also noticed these "experts" post to every thread on here. Seems too me a good rod builder would not have time to lurk all day on a web sight if he were really a good builder. Go build some rods and shut up if you don't like a product maybe you will learn something useful. (STEPING DOWN FROM SOAP BOX)
