I think they are a 50/30 stripper. Currently using a 20klh for most of recent rods, so that has no use for me. Biggest I ever need to go is 30 for my 10,000 size stuff. Hopefully that guide wasn't marketed for the US surf market, because if so, they missed the boat on that one. Big spooled mono guys may be happy, but good luck converting them. Even Fuji doesn't care enough about the surf market to give a high frame kw20 and 25. Just not enough money evidently.

Tidalwave is the coated product I was talking about. I am an oddball commercial fisherman who likes nice gear and tries to stay with the times on rod tech. Fishing 300 days a year, steel and coated steel products are just not for me because they see abuse. Tried to cheap out before and got a ti coated product and had rust within a year after I knocked some of the coating off.
