Nicely Colored Burl Cork

A short time ago, I ordered several hundred rings of premium burl cork, from Joe and the good folks at Custom Fly Grips. Although there was a technical error, during the ordering process, it was corrected, and my order was not delayed.

I received the box today, and it was like Christmas! The quality looks excellent, and the colors really pop, especially compared to the faded colors of regular burl. I haven't glued or turned any yet, but will soon.

I look forward to working with it, and will post some shots when I have a few handles done.

Thanks to Joe and Custom Fly Grips, for a nice product.

Chris

Chris, thank you for the review of our new premium burl cork rings. Let me know if there is anything else we can do for you. We will have a few new colors in the coming months including a purple, and a new color that is so unique that we will be keeping it a secret for now.

If you are viewing this thread and want to see what all of the fuss is about, you can view the premium burl cork rings, blocks, and strips we offer at the following link

I just finished turning four grips, with the premium burl, and I really like it. I glued it up with Titebond III. The color is nice and consistent, throughout, and the rings turn down smoothly.

Gonna keep using these!

Chris
