Will the PacBay Minima micros stand up to Braided line without grooving ?

The company says they can and will not groove under braid. I have not had any problems so far but have only had them on some rods for a couple years. No way for me to say what they may look like five years from now.

Good reading. I was curious about other builders experiences. I am getting a lot of repairs in with guide rings popped out. It appears the majority are
being stepped on while laying on the boat deck. That's all part of being a Bass tournament fisherman I guess. I don't mind fixing them if they don't mind breaking them.

JB,
Several years of using Pac Bay Minima 4 guides.

O rods have come back with any guide complaints from using minima 4 guides.

However, I did have some issues with minima 3 guides and won't use them.

Be safe

I have them on a Batson CB66M that I use for walleye shore casting at night. Many thousands of casts with 8# Fireline and no issues at all. I'm using the Minima 4 M guides, 4W runners and Minima tip.

Chuck
Sounds like you need larger sizes like maybe 6's for that icing

Only happened a couple times. Not an issue. It was last night of the season last year.
