Does any body on this know of a manufacturer that makes a multi-piece (7' to 7'6") blank where the sections are no more than 30 inches and rated for 30# to 40 # line? This will be for a travel rod for use on grouper and other similar salt water species. At this point almost any material would be a start. Thanks. NeilB Re: 7'6" 3 or 4 piece blank for 40# line

Lamiglas GBT/84/3M, 7', 30#, 3 piece, 7.0 tip, 0.700 butt, 6 ounces and $200. I nearly bought one last year but the price put me off. I doubt that they sell very many so you may need to order well in advance. If you do get one let me know how it performs, I'm still tempted! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
