Gudebrod HT Metallic Thread - Pearl

Probably old news to most of you, but I used some Gudebrod HT Metallic thread for trim rings on a rod I'm working on and wow does it look pretty cool. It's a "matte gray" natural finish blank, and I used a claret colored thread to match the rosewood reel seat spacer. I would normally use silver trim at the ferrule and inscription wraps, but I decided to try the pearl. I'm glad I did. I looks really sharp.

Just thought I'd pass that along, in case anyone is looking for a slightly different look on their rods.

Hi Bob, Speaking of the pearl thread, i was using this on a red-white-blue metallic chevron butt wap that really looks good. Problem with the pearl is that it seems to twist a lot more than the other metallics when trying to wrap 2 threads at a time instead of one. I tried putting tape tags on the ends to keep them from twisting but it twists harder right behind my fingers. Any suggestions for keeping two threads apart or do I have to wrap them one thead at a time?
