Anyone have any comments on these blanks. I like the specs on some of the casting and spinning blanks. I've pretty much been building exclusively on St. Croix's Legend Elites and Avids. How does the Perigee compare to these in sensitivity and weight? Any comments would be appreciated. Re: Perigee blanks

Very light, but maybe not as crisp as the Legend Ultra SCIV. I get some bounce with mine, but I'm not an expert caster either. I know I can throw farther with the SCIV and also do better on windy days with the SCIV. But again, I'm not an expert fly caster. The Perigee do have a pretty finish. Green with gold specks. I like them very much. I built up the PW84L to go bottom fishing for croakers, flounder and sea trout. It works well for that purpose but it is also stout enough (and great fun) for autumn striped bass (5-7 lbs). The green finish with gold flecks is lovely. My favorite color combination is a Pearl underwrap with gold trim bands and dark green on the guides. Re: Perigee blanks

I don't have any rods from Perigee blanks but my 2 sons both have 4 each that they use for everything from bottom fishing with bait to deep jigging and light shallow water trolling and lots of stuff in between. They LOVE 'em. They had them built for them but not by me because I refused to put fancy Ge Gaw wraps above the fore grips. Any how they dearly love their rods. Warren Re: Perigee blanks
