Help needed selecting colors

Im horrible at trying to select colors. So I thought I would get some suggestions here.

Will be painting a 9' rod. Handle will be natural carbon fiber and reel seat will also be black. I currently have the following thread choices.

White
Black
Copper
Versablend
Tigerwrap.

Any thoughts on blank color and thread combinations ???

thanks

Here is what my mind came up with. If you can find paint that is close to the copper, paint the blank copper, then wrap the guides in black with a copper accent (2-3 wraps). Then do the butt-wrap in black/copper. I say this becaue I just did a St. Croix SCV spinning that is the blue-green color and I had a blue-green thread that was almost identical color. I did what I just described and I think it looks fantastic. The black wraps really pop on a boldy colored blank. Good Luck.

I do like that Idea... In fact I have some paint setting around from years back where I spot painted a camaro fender. It was a very sharp copper looking color.

I would be curious if anyone has suggestions for a color using the tiger thread sold by Mudhole. I was really hoping to use it somewhere.

that is a cool site... its gonna take me a while to figure out exatly what is going on but I think it may be a good help.

the only bad thing about the online color charts like that is you cannot duplicate a true metallic like gold etc... But it should get it in the ballpark.

thanks
