I met (6 ) Georgia based rod builders today at the ICRBE in NC...two of which are fly rod guys. The show runs again tomorrow. It could be worth the road trip.

No! they are all at the Rod Expo in North Carolina.
But give them a couple days and they'll be back.

North Carolina doesn't have anything a Georgia boy needs.

Sorting through some (a long way to go yet) today's door prize registration tickets, I already have 52 builders from Georgia that were here for the Expo today.

South Carolina is pretty close and there are a number of talented rod builders on our side of the river. I could name a handful off the top of my head and I'm certain that there are a good many others that I'm not familiar with.

I was at the expo and am from coastal Georgia. A regional get together would be great. My e mail should be open and would like to hear from those interested.

Since we are based in Aiken, SC - which is basically in the middle of both states, Hydra Fishing, LLC would be more than happy to get something going.

Email us at john@hydrafishing.com if you'd be interested in a one day type gathering. Lot to think about with it and look into what could be involved.

Thanks,

Alex
