Fit of a pac bay minima reel seat

Hey guys,

Got a NEWBIE question.

I was fitting my minima spin(Pac bay) reel seat today and was wondering if you can get them to tight? When slid down to where I want it it is VERY tight! Is this O.K. or do I want to ream it out a bit so epoxy has room between blank and seat?

It's squeeky tight!!

Thanks Rick

Thanks Bill !!

I reamed it out a bit now the seat isn't really snug. It will spin on blank but there is no play in it. Will this still set up O.K. or do I need to order another?

Thanks Rick

Just make sure it does not move on ya before the glue dries

I always get mine about 2" above where they sit ream the seat and prep the blank area so glue has a better bond

Thanks !!!!

This forum ROCKS!!!

Everytime I start to second guess myself the guys on here are quick to answer and point me in the right direction.

I'm learning that getting started isn't cheap and is pretty time consuming.

But I'm lovin the looks and feel of this new rod!!

So thanks again Bill and Roger !!!
