Pac Bay wrapper slot

Can someone give me the measurements of the Pac bay power wrapper slot dimension. I am new to rod building and am gradually building my equipment on a shoestring budget. I am thinking I can make the base with some materials I have at work. And as time goes on add to it with factory parts. I build ice rods so I don't need a full length one and I want to change the thread carriage to include a spring for backing off my screwedup wraps. Any help I woould greatly appreciate. Thank you.

If you are talking the slot in the front that the thread carriage slides along it is .755"

I believe I have the Amtak wrapper, which I was told was the same wrapper, I could be mistaken

I was talking about the slot that the rod supports ride in. I made a power wrapper. It works ok for now. But as I go I was looking for something a little more professional. I was going to make the base with the motor unit. (sewing machine motor and finish motor with rheostat) then buy the rod supports. I will have to make a tip support because the ice rods are so nimble. (2/64) I have 2x4 rectangle aluminum stock I was going to cut the slot out of and attach the motor unit. Until I get the supports I was hoping to at least get the base done. I am attaching a t-slot track to the front of the rail for the thread carriage which I also have. I can weld that on. I am in the process of making a dedicated cork lathe with the same principle. I am buying a 2" 3 jaw chuck 3/4-16 from grizzly tool and running a step gear motor setup. Maybe later on making wooden inserts or acrylic inserts for my summer rods. Again thank you.

Chip -
Maybe just me but I'd look for a 4 jaw chuck . It will give you more flexibility in the long run

chip,
As long as you are making the wrapper, why don't you save the money and make your own supports.
A base made of walmart cutting board. A couple piece of aluminum to form a vertical support and two horizontal supports. Put one wheel on the top horizontal support centered over the two lower wheels mounted on the lower support.

good luck

Chip I have a forecast I believe uses the same supports and the slot where the supports slide in is 2in. wide.1.990 to be exact.I use 1 amtak support in mine and I believe them to be the same as several others of that caliber wrapper.
