Just purchased a CTS SE1363-2, fast action. i looked and looked but cant find any info for number of guides, size or placement. Any help would be a great help.

It's a land based rock fishing blank ( S8 13'6'' 5-8oz 2pc ) Static placement of guides would be the best bet otherwise search around for similar length/weight blanks for a guide. Fairly common here in New Zealand although generally fished with overhead guides off the rocks

Bob, send me your e mail address. I have two guide placement guides one for 12 guides and a tip, and one with 13 guides and a tip. I have built quite a few 13' 6'' CTS blanks and I prefer the 13 gude set up

Bob, Better yet. This is the spacing that I have used on all my CTS 13'6'' builds (although I built on the 3 piece rods) Tip, 3 1/2 7 1/2 12 173/4 23 3/4 31 1/2 40 49 3/4 61 1/4 73 5/8
87 5/8 104 1/2 123 1/2 all measured in inches from the tip. This was forwarded to me by the Canadian distributor who is also a builder. CTS blanks are amazing.

Pretty simple.
Put a guide on the blank any where it is needed to have the line follow the contour of the loaded blank.

Use as few guides as possible and still have the line follow the loaded blank.

This method is true for any blank.

Just start at the tip, and begin to deflect the tip from the tip. Place a guide at the first deflection point and continue from there.

Hi Frank,
Looks like you're passing on the spacing for a centerpin/float rod blank rated for up to a 3/4 oz bait ... I fish that blank.
Bob's blank is rated for 5-8oz ... different blank and application.

Cesar, you are correct. That spacing is for a float rod.

Bob; This is off my 13' 6" 3-6oz but should get you close. This works real well on mine. Who did you get the Blank from?

Barry, thanks for the info. I bought the blank from Scott Parsons at fishsticks. Chec it out on the left. CTS are not on his site, so call him. He has about 6 more.
