i just had a question if it is recommended to spiral wrap a parabolic blank. specifically, it is the 350g jigging master blank. also, i have only done one spiral wrap so it is a fairly new concept to me. should i use simple spiral or revolver method? i tried looking into the physics of this but that just made my head hurt. any input is appreciated. Sure you can Mike, and it will work wonderfully! I'm partial to a three or, rarely, a four guide transition to "get around". It seems to look better to me than the simple spiral. Personal preference. Just don't overthink it. You may end up with the transition guides fairly close together if that blank bends like some of the jigger's I've seen, but once the line is on the bottom, the remaining guides should be breeze to place. Mike,
You can wrap any rod with a spiral wrap. Good luck Roger Re: parabolic rod- can i spiral wrap?
