I recently moved my rodbuilding box out to the garage because of space problems and it spent the night there. It got really chilly overnight and I brought it back into the house cause I thought the cold may cause problems with the epoxies, CP, Dura Gloss, etc. that I have.

Can our panel of experts comment on the effects of cold on the various rodbuilding "liquids" if I were to continue their storage in the garage over the winter and if they would function as originally purchased after I thawed it out.

Most if not all acrylic based color preservers will be ruined by exposure to freezing temperatures. They cannot be thawed out in such a way that they would return to normal.

Epoxies may crystalize at low temperatures. By sitting the crystalized component bottle in a pan of hot water, or heating in some other appropriate manner, the epoxy will return to normal condition and will function perfectly. This process can be repeated as often as necessary.
