Anyone had experience with Talon or Diamondback blanks? Briefly, what are characteristics and would you build on them again??

I have used both. The Diamondback blanks are a bit heavy for modern day blanks but have a very attractive look to them. Very easy to cast and good quality. My customers like them very much. Talon makes about everything under the sun in about every length and weight you can imagine. Almost too many models to choose from. I guess they're about as good as anything else out there.

Elrod,
Both Diamondback and Talon make good products. My experience with casting rods from both companies has been limited, but I have seen plenty of both, and can tell you that they are both of high quality. I believe the main thing setting Talon apart from the larger quality companies is the advertising. Talon has a long history in the blank and rod industries. Many of the blanks were designed by a few of the more well known designers that are still designing blanks for other companies.
