First let me start by saying I do not build rods but would certainly like to pick it up as a hobby. My question; is it possible to put fish measurment markers on a factory built Allstar rods? I have one custom built rod that has the measuremts threaded on the rod and I'd like to duplicate this on my other factory rods. If it is possible, is it a fairly easy task one can take on without any rodbuiling experience? Thanks erick Re: Measurement markers

A simple answer is yes. I would also suggest you add numbers to the marker. And also use double line instead of single thread to mark the length. the lengthy should be the middle of the marking threads which is a lot easier to see at night. Trust me, I fish for walleye at night chest deep so ruler is not easy at hand and measuring is critical. You will understand if you know how crazy are those DNR people in Wisconsin; will make you do that to every rod you got!! Good fishing (catching) <*)))))))><{ Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
