Well, I gave Seeker another test. This time it was 3, CLB806's. All three have no finish below 78" and very thin finish between 73" and 78". Two of them have 3 curves and the other one has one curve of about 1/2" from midpoint. Will be designated carp fishing blanks now. Nuff said! Some folks (me) never learn. When Rainshadow matches the Seeker specs for composites and surf blanks, I may become a faithful follower. Batson, you paying attention? Re: Another bad batch of Seekers

Why not try Calstar or Lamiglas composites? Billy Re: Another bad batch of Seekers

Will give all others consideration now. I had several rods designed on the Seekers now will have to go through trial and error again on specs. Re: Another bad batch of Seekers

I have and still am using the Rainshadow SWB 70 MH and the blank is rated for 30#. This is a good blank so far. I wished Rainshadow would make a 7'6" 50# blank. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
