JUST RECEIVED MY NEW RENZETTI LASER...PUT IT TO USE RIGHT AWAY...WORKS FANTASTICALLY...THIS BEAUTY IS FAIL SAFE...BEATS THE PANTS OFF THE OLD EYEBALL ROUTINE [ESPECIALLY WHEN THE AGE STARTS TO CATCH UP WITH YOU AND THE EYESIGHT STARTS TO SUFFER]...I GOT THE INFO ON THE LASER FROM TOM KIKMAN & RODMAKERS MAGAZINE...I HAD TINKERED WITH THE LASER[SPOT STYLE,NOT LINE TYPE] IN THE PAST BUT IT WAS CUMBERSOME AND JUST PLAIN "KLUNKY" [ALWAYS IN THE WAY] THIS IS THE BEST THING TO COME ALONG SINCE THE WHEEL AND SOOOOOO EASY TO OPERATE...IF YOU HAVE A RENZETTI LATHE I WOULD DEFINITELY GO FOR IT..........

According to what Tom posted here earlier, it will also fit the Clemens and Custom PowR Wrap lathes as well. I have one on order. Looks like a neat tool for a tool freak like me!

Fred,

Thanks for the review. The idea looked pretty neat but I wondered if it would work well -my experience with Renzetti is that anything Andy produces is top notch. Looks like its time to open the wallet again. At least its not too pricey.

Andy

ps- your messages would be a little easier on the eyes (and mine aren't what they used to be either) if you turned off your Caps Lock key.

Holy Cow.... I'm in Heaven. I received my new Renzetti lathe with the laser attachment on Friday. I'm very happy I made the investment. What a wonderful tool.

It only gets better the more you use it! Took me awhile to get the feel for power wrapping but after a few rods I would never go back. I used to think it was alot of cash, but now it seems like a bargain. I have certainly gotten my money's worth out of it. Next I guess I'll add the alignment tool.

Thanks to all for the great feedback. We take pride and extra care to make the best and that sometime cost a little more. It is great to know you are enjoying the tools.
