Pacific Bay - Blankgroups?

Hello,

i have little problems to understand the different groups at Pacific Bay. Where is the difference between the Mag Bass and the spinning - groups? Where is the difference between the spinn and the spin-jig groups? Could somebody be so friendly, to explain me the difference between the groups (not necessary for fly and saltwater ;o) ). Maybe like something like: "The group XY has the bend only in the tip, than a strong backbone" ... or ... "the bend is semiparabolic with a moderate speed" .....

Hope someone understands my question?

Regards,
Jan

In real general terms the mag bass will have the most backbone compared to tip, the spin jig a little less backbone, and the spinning blanks will be the slowest actioned.

Hello!

Thank you for your reply. Ok, the mag bass has a hard[er] backbone and a relative soft tip? Maybe I can use them for twitchbaits, or is there another group better? I want to build the rod for castingreels.

Try the C722 in whichever series you like. Soft tips are all relative and there or not there depending on the use the designer had in mind for the rod. Hardbaits with trebles work better with softer rods like the crankbait blanks and the faster blanks work better with the soft baits and big single hooks. When in doubt email them for suggestions.
