Do I need to put CP over the decal? Also is there someplace I can buy decal with other pictures like baseball, football, or NASCAR teams. This could make a custon rod nice for someone who inot one of these sports.
Thanks for any input.

I am not experienced with the sticker kind, I would suggest that an ink fixative (spray can kind) would be the ideal choice. I have used water slide decals printed on my inkjet, sprayed with fixative, finished with Crystal Coat and not had any trouble. I am sure the rest of the list will help you with the sticker decal technique

You should try a hobby shop that sells radio controlled cars, they have alot of decal sheets that are identical to the race cars on major teams, some of these Ive seen can have some good things to use

When applying finish over decals you can use an Epoxy finsh direcly over them as long as it is has no type of thinner. Flex Coat High Build or U-40 LS Supreme will work fine.
