I love to weave and i would like to buy some of doc's patterns. Merrick tackle has well over 150 patterns listed but what do they look like? could any body tell me where i could see doc's patterns. If buy chance doc is reading this help.
Maybe merrick can put pictures on thier wed site, i am pretty sure this would increase sales. Again if any body out there has pics (also with the name) of doc's patterns please respone.

Considering how much time Doc put into the weaqves, I don't think he'd mind if you bought 3 or 4 then wrapped them yourself & and picked the one you liked best.

I'm a new weaver and have found that the actual weaving is straight forward when using some sort of weave jig. Developing a really good weave pattern is a completely different proposition, at least for this old hillbilly. A really good pattern for the threads you want to use requires a lot of work, as well as a lot of trial and error, I think.

I've been trying to come up with an "action" bluefish pattern for nearly 2 months and have woven various patterns 14 times to date. Getting ready to make a new pattern as I've been unhappy with the results, so far.

If you are new to weaving, get his DVD. In fact it is 2 DVD. It pretty much walks you from the start to the finish. Very detailed and his patterns are good too. I have 3 of his shark patterns and they a cool.

Hi John, I am sorry it has taken me so long to respond but lifes alligators really have me hopping these days. As for pictures there are many posted here and there around the internet but much of that is my newere work. Merrick and @#$%& carry my complete line of work from way back when. If you see a pattern that you might be interested in then email me and I will be glad to provide a picture. I am not certain but this may be an automatic process at @#$%& in the future, you might check. I will check with Scott at Merrick and see if he wants to set something like that up in the future too.
