LS Supreme is SUPREME

I just finished using LS Supreme for the first time and I can't say enough good things about this product. This was only my third attempt at rod building, so anything that makes itself as user friendly as this product does deserves attention. After reading a few posts here about bubbles in the finish I was a bit nervous about the stuff. I'm happy to report that despite my best efforts I was unable to screw this finish up. I mixed the product per the directions, poured it out onto tin foil, waited a few minutes, and then applied the epoxy with a Flexcoat brush. LS Supreme leveled itself out nicely, and not one bubble was present in the finish when cured. As per Sullys post on introducing bubbles through aggressive brushing, I opted to let the product flow off the brush with very little pressure and that seemed to do the trick. The finished product is gin clear, smooth, and very flexible. The clarity of the product really makes the wraps jump out at you. Kudos to Mr Ralph O'Quinn for creating such a spectacular product, and thank you for being available to us for answers when need be. Consider me a LS Supreme customer for life.

Sincerely,
Mike Carnegie

For what it is worth, Mr. O'Quinn is a regular writer for Rodmaker magazine. Although he has written much on finishing and proper finishing technique, it is apparent from his articles on repair and making ferrules that he has much more to offer than just finishing products. He is a great help to all of us who are trying to improve in this hobby.

Hello Lew, just about every vendor along the left hand margin of this web page carries LS Supreme, as well as the rest of the U-40 Trondak line of products. I happened to get mine from Angelers Workshop due to their close proximity to me. Anyhow, give the LS Supreme a try and I'm sure you'll see for youself why I'm so pleased with this product.

Also note that the Trondak U40 link is now active and their new page is mostly complete.
