File to remove nubs in finish

Looking through my old tools I came across a Nib file.It is used to remove runs and drips in auto paint with out sanding.I had just applied the first coat of finish to a butt wrap and noticed that a few nubs were visible and that I could feel them.As in a previous post they were the consistancy of grit.I stated to remove them with the razor blade and then got an idea. The Nib file will remove the high spot and not damage the surrounding finish so I gave it a shot. The results were great. No need to worry about cutting in to deep or gouging out the finish. After the second coat the finish was a flat as can be.[www.matcotools.com]

Another heavy coat of epoxy works great, it will cover teh nubs in butt wraps each and every time.
