I'm currently building up a Rainshadow blank. It is dark green matte in color, similar to a St. Croix. I am going to add gold trim wraps but am undecided about a base thread color. I have a thread color stick made up and the Gudebrod 5896 looks good but I would be interested in other suggestions. Thank you to all who take the time to reply. 441 charcoal with the same gold trim. Looks great. Re: Thread Color for Rainshadow Blank

I used a green thread from gudebrod. I am not able to get to the number right now, but the bright green (plain green) without color preserver, it blends into the blank color, slight distinction, but very elegant looking. Use gold or silver as a single inlay or very thin trim band. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
