Anyone out there from Minnesota that makes alot of custome rods?

I've made 5-10 rods and would like to meet someone who knows what they are doing and wouldn't mind showing me what they have done and how they do it.

Ya Know share some tricks of the trade with a newbie.

Thanx

Hi Paul, I'm a Minneosta rod builder from Breezy Point, Mn... I'm a Professional Certified Rod Builder. We built and donated 8 rods for the 2001 Governor's Fishing Opener this past May for Jesse and his crew. A real treat!!!

We are holding a rod building class in Breezy Point the week of 9/17. You are welcome to join us there. Let me know if I can help in anyway!

Hi, Paul.

I have not built that many rods either. Built rods for myself a while back, then didn't do it for a while. Got back into it recently and have built some for myself and friends (no shortage of people who want one or two made). Hope to have a small business when I retire (8 years down the line).

Kris and I are looking for folks in MN that we can possibly have a get together with. We also have another guy in Bemidji, Mark Cook, who is a certified builder and has launched a bait and rod business.

I am in Detroit Lakes. Where are you located? If I can help, let me know.

Bob

Hi guys, I have a very small upstarting rod repair buisness working out of my home in park rapids, and out of the bike shop in walker, I have built several dozen rods in the past few years, I would be very interested in getting together with the locals and swapping tips, also I have played around with the idea of getting a class together to stay sane during the winter, anyone interested, Email me - jnail@unitelc.com or call me at the bike shop 218-547-2500
