The latest issue should be arriving in most subscribers' mailboxes this week or next. I was pretty well pleased with this issue as it has a tremendous amount of variety in terms of rod types and techniques. Here's what it looks like:

• Rich Forhan's continued discourse on his Revolver Rods. This issue focuses on the benefits of eliminating the foregrip from most bass casting rods and how to do it in a pleasing manner.

• The pattern for producing Jim Kastorff's beautiful 60 thread, 146 turn, mermaid weave.

• An article I did on how custom rod builders can effectively get into the rod repair market and how to profit from doing so.

• Don Calrton's method for sizing fly rod grips.

• A lengthy, but certainly in-depth technique article on how to easily and quickly prepare guide feet before wrapping. A lot of time and effort went into this article and almost anyone can gain some tips on making this sometime distasteful chore proceed more quickly and effectively.

• The Bamboo Corner - Bernard Elser helps us continue this excellent series with instructions on how to fit ferrules, seats and grips to bamboo rods. Nicely done.

Glad to hear that my magazine is on its way.Was really started to get antsy.Not that you have ever heard this before, but excellent magazine and please keep up the good work. We do appreciate it.

One thing I take a great deal of pride in, is the fact that RodMaker has never been produced, printed or mailed late. It has met every deadling for over 3 years now, just as I promised.

On very rare occasions the Postal Service will lose an issue. Then there are those who move and fail to notify us in time to make the necessary change to their address. Luckily, 99% of the magazines get delivered on or near the scheduled delivery date of the last day of each even numbered month.

Glad to hear you are anxious to get your copy. I thought this one was quite good.
